- The school was demolished in 1973 and the Milton Public Library erected on the lot. Photograph taken from "An Indelible Imprint" by Jim Dills. Caption underneath the photograph reads "Around 1920 this group was photographed at Bruce St. public school. Mrs. Dean Johnstone, who loaned the photo, says her sister Mae is fourth from the right in the fourth row, but doesn't know any others." For further information consult that booklet. Some of the children are believed to be connected to the Charlton and Timbers families.
