- The caption underneath the photograph reads "The boys' choir at Bruce St. P. S. in 1930 was pictured with teacher Christine Elliott, principal P. D. Shorey and teacher Miss Margaret Gemmell. A note on the back of the photo, loaned by Mrs. P. W. Cooke, says the choir had their picture taken after singing at the annual horticultural show in Toronto and over radio station CKGW."
