- Miss Blain was Regent of the I.O.D.E. (Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire) for many years in the 1920s and 1930s. She also held other positions with that organization. She was the daughter of James Blain and Mary Skelton. She moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to be with her sister.
