I believe that would be the tree planting ceremony at (current ) Chris Hadfield Park.1945 + 35year anniversary = 1980
so I'd guess a look in a paper dated around May 5-8 1980 aught to
pull up a aticle on the
Milton Dutch-Canadian citizens tree planting ceremony to commemerate
Liberation Day in the Netherlandss.
Ben Reis was President of the Holland Canada Club,so made a fine VIP for the tree planting ceremony
