Description

Robert Cunningham was born in Drayton, Ontario. He married Annie Alberta Stewart and they had two children, a son and a daughter. He came to Milton in 1927 and opened the Red & White Grocery store on Main Street. He was a Town Councillor and Deputy Reeve and became Reeve in 1958-59. He died in 1981 and was survived by his daughter Roberta Joan Gagne and his son Gordon of Milton. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Acton, Ontario.
