Description
Stanley Fay was born at Peake, Northern England, in 1902, the son of Henry Fay and Eva Ann Holmes, who had ten shildren, all sons. He married Mary Isabel McEachern in Milton in 1926. She was the daughter of James McEachern and Margaret E. Longstreet. Mr. and Mrs. Fay had four children, three sons and one daughter. He started working in the plumbing business of Edwin F Earl in Milton in 1918. He eventually started his own plumbing business and in 1943 moved the business to Main Street in Milton. He was a Town Councillor and Reeve. He died in 1976 and was survived by his wife, three sons, Charles and Keith of Milton and Stanley of Brampton, and his daughter (Mrs. Frank Benton) of Milton. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
