Description

Gordon Gowland was the son of Dr. Marshall E. Gowland and Josephine Partridge. He inherited his nickname from his father. In 1935 he married Lillian Franklin and they had two daughters. He operated Milton Hardware at the corner of Martin and Main Streets for many years. He served on Milton Council and was Mayor of Milton in 1947. He was a member of many local organizations.
