Description
A 1917 plane landed in a field on the A. S. Willmott farm and struck a rough spot. The propeller was smashed but rhe pilot escaped unhurt. It was a weekend attraction for residents who got a close up look. This picture and description were used in "Milton Remembers WWI" by John Challinor and Jim Dills.
