- Notes accompanying the photograph written by Jack Charlton as follows: This is the site of the Blind and Sash Factory operated by John Hunter and John Ezard (see County Atlas). The original building was demolished by fire and this followed. It apparently was rebuilt several times. The last operation as a mill was by John F. Noble who sold to developers who demolished the buildings about 1970.
