Description: Head and shoulders portrait of woman with grey hair pulled back and elaborate bodice of spotted fabric with elaborate trim and very high collar. Spectacles hanging from chain around her neck.
Notes: Catherine McCann married Thomas Henry Willmott in 1864. There were six children, two of whom died in infancy. The surviving children were Anna W. b.1865 (married William Hutchinson); Louise, b.1867; Frank Thomas b.1870; Alice G. b.1880. Oval portrait pasted on board.
