Notes

"Lulu Irene Hill was born in Milton July 05, 1894, the daughter of William Hill (June 1851-1900) and Charlotte 'Lottie' Griffin (1861-?). Her father William was the brother of Catherine Ann Hill Pearen and Lulu was Catherine's niece. William died in 1900 at the age of 49 and in 1909 Lottie Hill married the widower James Hume. Lulu, then age 15, moved with them to James' farm in Pomona, California. She later married George Friend of Ontario. Lulu Friend died February 1984 in Stanton, Orange County, California."
