- Notes
- Philip Walker was born in North Carolina in 1785 to William and Sarah Walker. His parents came to Canada and settled in Beamsville. He married Susannah Cline. Of their fifteen children ten lived to maturity. In 1827 Philip Walker purchased property near Milton and resided there the rest of his life. He died in 1865. Mrs. Susannah Walker was born in 1792 and came to Canada when seven years old and settled at Winona. She died in 1875. This picture was taken from "Milton Semi-Centennial 1857-1907".
