This is my 3rd great grandfather and this picture was hanging in the Milton court house up until May 2006 when it was loaned to the Milton Historical Society. I believe the photo was actually given to Alex Cooke by a cousin when he was doing his research.

The photograph on the screen was scanned from a picture in "Milton's Semi-Centennial 1857-1907", a booklet published in 1907. The booklet was purchased by MHS at a local auction a few years ago. It is now in the MHS archives. The photograph at the Milton Court House is not an original 19th century photograph. It appears to be a reproduction of the picture in the above booklet. The picture was returned to the Court House.
