Levi Willson was born in Wentworth County into a United Empire Loyalist family. In 1830 he married Ann Lottridge (1806-1839) and they had four children, three sons and one daughter. His second married in 1841 was to Mary Morris (House), a widow (1805-1881). They had five children, three sons and two daughters. In 1872 he moved his family to Michigan where he died in 1879.
