Notes

The school was demolished in 1973 and the Milton Public Library erected on the lot. Photograph taken from "An Indelible Imprint" by Jim Dills. Caption below the photograph reads "Joe Willmott loaned this photo of junior scholars in 1894, but he didn't know many of the names. But the Champion discovered the photo had run in the paper several years ago, courtesy of the late Miss Myrtle Field, and a complete list of names was found.
