- Five rows of children posed in front of windows at the school. Mrs. B. Henderson is the teacher on the left and Mr. Inman, the principal is on the left towards the rear.

- Mrs. P. W. Cooke loaned the photograph for publication. She is among the students. The school was demolished in 1973 and the Milton Public Library erected on the lot. Photograph taken from "An Indelible Imprint" by Jim Dills. The caption below the photograph reads "The senior class was photographed at Bruce St. in 1896 or 1897 and Mrs. P.W. Cooke, who loaned the photo, is in the group. Recognize any of them? Mrs. B. Henderson is the teacher and Mr. Inman the principal."
