Notes
The school was demolished in 1973 and the Milton Public Library erected on the lot. Photograph taken from "An Indelible Imprint" by Jim Dills. The caption underneath the photograph reads "This was a grade two group in 1929 when Miss Elsie Stewart was a teacher at Bruce St. Cameron Wilson, who loaned this picture, identifies them as follows: Bottom row, Stanley Randell, Leslie Collis, unknown, Andy Graham, Buster Morley, Frank Perry, unknown. Second row, Mary Gilbert, unknown, Margaret Turner, Margaret Straub, Edna Maplesden, Peggy Galloway, Jean McKenzie, Yetta Ervin, Louise Smith, unknown, Gwenyth Watts. Third row, Marjorie Waters, Etta Campbell, Eleanor Waters, Irene Collins, Kathleen Lecocq, Mary Lambert, Dorothy Clarke, Ruth Sargeant. Top row Harold Coxe, Peter Morley, George Stewart, Cameron Wilson, Douglas Agnew, Ted Gazley, Jim Spront, Jack Higgins, Hugh Evans, John Barton. Teacher, Miss Elsie Stewar." Query - Jim Spront should be Jim Sprout.
