- "This week in pictures". "Almost a century of service (98 years to be exact) to Milton Fire Department was rewarded recently when these three fire-fighters received 30-year service medals in the special presentation held at Ontario Fire College, Gravenhurst. Don Toletzka, left, had 30 years of work with the Milton brigade and has been treasurer for 18 years; Ivan Clarridge, centre, is another 30 year veteran and has been secretary for the past 15 years; and Alf Waldie, right, retired in 1967 after 38 years with the brigade. Firefighter Clarridge was also president of Ontario Fire Fighters Assoc. in 1958 and retired firefighter Waldie is a past chairman of the Humber-Credit District Firefighters Assoc. Last year three other members of the Milton brigade, Chief A. E. Clement, Deputy Chief George Bundy and Capt. Harold Coulson, also received 30-year medals"
