Jane Laidlaw was born January 27th 1830 in Esquesing Twp, Halton County and died December 30th 1906 in Owen Sound, Ontario. Jane was the daughter of Andrew Laidlaw 1794 – 1874 and Agnes Nancy McQuarrie 1795 – 1879. She married on October 31st 1850 to Finlay McCallum. Jane, as well as her husband, parents and most of her children, are buried in Boston Presbyterian Church, Esquesing Twp, Halton Ontario. Jane Laidlaw and Finlay McCallum's children were: James Finlay McCallum 1852 – 1894 Agnes McCallum 1854 – 1945 Christina McCallum 1856 – 1930 Janet McCallum 1858 – 1880 Elizabeth McCallum 1861 – 1930 John McCallum 1862 – 1933 Margaret Isabella McCallum 1864 – 1936 Andrew Laidlaw McCallum 1866 – 1922 Helen McCallum 1869 – 1869 Mary Helen McCallum 1872 – 1947
