I was just informed about this website this summer by my cousin Rodney Coulson (son of Maurice, son of Wilfred). What a great picture, eh!! It is not reported, but there are three (3) sets of twins in the picture: Jimmie and Janet Coulson, Stephen and Stewart Hayward, and Eugene and Dawn Coulter. One of our parents had each attended this school, also. That had to be some kind of record for a one room school!! Mrs. Goldstraw was such a great teacher and person - looking back, she put up with quite a bit. Way underpaid by today's standards!! Mr. Skuce was Superintendent of Schools and he made unannounced visits to schools - he could be intimidating at times, rather strict but I'm sure he meant well.
