Elsie (Mrs. W.J.Armstrong) Mckenzie was my great grandmother. I was told that this blacksmith shop belonged to Elsie's brother Thomas McKenzie.
Do you know if that info is correct. Do you know the names of Elsie and Thomas'
parents?

Sounds like they would have been in a Blacksmith shop in Merton to start. I am not sure based on the description which blacksmith shop they ended up in?
