Description

S. G. Childs was born in England and came to Canada with his parents when he was two years old. He was educated in Milton and worked for the P. L. Robertson Co. He was Mayor of Milton from 1958-1967. He was a member of St. Clair Masonic Lodge and a member of Grace Anglican Church. He married Ivy Merne Malpress in 1914. For further information see "Milton Area Biographies" by Alex Cooke.
