    Millstone at Upper Canada Village, Ontario

    The Hornby Mill was situated at the corner of Derry Road and Trafalgar. It was demolished c.2005

    The mill was burned down in the 1870s. It is believed to have been situated in the area of Steeles Avenue just to the west of Bronte. The photograph was taken by Ross Pearen in the 1930s.

    The Dakota Mill, built in 1844, was named after the Dakota Indian Tribe, upon whose campgrounds it was built. It burned November 18, 1979. The mill has now been demolished.

    This mill took the place of the old stone Martin's Mill which was destroyed by fire. The "Supersweet" mill was eventually demolished in 1990.
